New Zealand is known for it’s national rugby team, it’s indigenous Maori culture, and most of all it’s picturesque landscape. The southernmost part of Polynesia is home to active volcanoes, spectacular caves, deep glacier lakes, verdant valleys, dazzling fjords, long sandy beaches, and spectacular snow-capped peaks.

With a unique array of vegetation and animal life, much of which developed during the country’s prolonged isolation, it is the sole home of the long-beaked, flightless kiwi, the ubiquitous nickname for New Zealanders.

We will experience much of what New Zealand has to offer on this unique down under fitcation!.

I love travel, and I love fitness! My name is Gabrielle (Gabi) Mazar, and I will be your Fitness Guide. I am a graduate of Arizona State University, having studied Exercise & Wellness. I am NASM certified, Stretch to Win FST certified, and PMA Pilates certified. While in college, I interned with a former body builder and from 2010-2012 I worked at a women’s gym until I opened up my own gym in 2012, Health Body Works in Tempe, Arizona.

I have traveled all over the world, from Australia and New Zealand, to Europe (including my family roots in Slovenia and Croatia), to Asia and Hawaii. I love traveling, and I love fitness, which is why I created these FitMinute Vacations. After visiting Costa Rica for my 30th birthday, I knew this wonderful place with so many things to do, such a beautiful landscape, and some of the best beaches and ocean in the world would be the perfect place to relax while staying fit and having fun.


Is this just for ‘athlete’ types?
No! This is designed for fitness at any level. You can use this vacation to launch your fitness training and get on track to good health, or you can use it to maintain your existing fitness routine while enjoying an amazing vacation. We’ll help you design your experience to fit your fitness level.

Will I get to pick the activities I want?
Yes! This is your Fitness Vacation. You will have options daily as to what you want your itinerary to look like. You can choose from our daily workouts, stretches, excursions, hikes, etc., and make this your perfect fitness retreat.

What is the cancellation policy?
No cancellations. Your deposit holds your spot until your final payment is made. Final payments are due no later than April 30th, 2020. Must have at least 8 to travel.

You’ll want to have spending money to purchase local items for gifts, memories, food and drinks outside of the accommodations, etc.
